Two years ago I was in Europe for 2 weeks. My old camera was great and I took about 900 pictures. Although it has many features, it is a bit limited in what you can do with it. I will be returning to Europe in about 5 weeks (Paris and Rome) amoung other places, I know already the Nikon D7000 will be much more versatile. It will hold 2 32gb memory cards and at 16 mg per picture it will hold over 9000 pictures and video. The D7000 is easy to hold, fast settings change, although a bit heavy, but whit a shoulder harness not uncomfortable. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is into pictures and video. Amazon was great.
