I couldn't figure out why it wasn't fitting on my 18-55mm Nikon D5000 lens and after reading and re-reading the tiny piece of paper that comes in the lens' box, I saw this little message: "6) Some cameras/camcorders may require additional adapter rings or adapter tubes. Please email to info@zeikos.com for the adapter you may need."Nice of them to tell me that AFTER I already ordered the lens!?! It specifically states that this is supposed to fit the Nikon D5000 18-55mm lens but this ISN'T the WHOLE TRUTH because now apparently I have to send an email to find out what else I will need to purchase and wait to come in the mail to even get this stupid thing functioning. Poor advertising and very misleading :( I certainly hope after all of this hassle the lens does the cool stuff... The edges are fuzzy, there is some lens distortion (colors fringing), and it does have some curvature. However, paying $17 for a cool effect didn't bother me at all. It's a great way to enter the world of wide angle lenses, get your feet wet, see if it's the sort of thing you'd be interested in, which I am...especially for landscape, architecture, interior photos, and more. If you want a great lens to be professional quality, get a Sigma 10-20mm.
